Configure Chaturbate for Wirecast

Step 1: Open WireCast and “Create Empty Document”

Step 2: Click on “Record button” at the top of Wirecast to configure settings

Step 3: Change “Destination” to “RTMP Server” and then click “Ok”

Step 4: Change the name to something that you will recognize (for example “Chaturbate”). Leave “Destination” and “Encoding” set to their defaults.  

Step 5: Change address to Chaturbate’s RTMP link which can be found on your broadcast page at https://chaturbate.com/b/ by clicking on “View RTMP/OBS broadcast information and stream key”.

Locate rtmp link copy and then copy and paste into “address” (rtmp://live.stream.highwebmedia.com/live-origin).  

Step 6: Access broadcast key from your broadcast page at https://chaturbate.com/b/ by clicking on “View RTMP/OBS broadcast information and stream key” and then copy and paste it into the “stream” input. Once you have copied and pasted the broadcast token into the stream input, press “Ok” to save your settings.

Step 7: Configure your webcam by creating a new layer by clicking on the “+” button on the main page of Wirecast.

Step 8: Select “Video Capture” from the menu and then select your webcam under “System Device”. Once you have selected your webcam click on the “Add” button. (Note: webcam name will be different from screenshot)

Step 9: Once your webcam has been selected, you will see a preview appear. To stream to your live broadcast, click on the “Go” arrow located below your preview.

Step 10: Once the “Go” arrow has been clicked, your preview will move on over to your “live” preview. Press the “Stream” button in the upper left corner to start stream. If done correctly your stream button will turn green. To stop streaming, press it again.

Step 11: Before exiting, save all settings by going to “File” > “Save As”. Once you have save all settings, Wirecast will generate a ``.wcst” file that will contain all the settings you have pre-set for your wirecast broadcast. Next time when broadcasting open your ``.wcst” file to retain all settings that were setup.
