Protect Yourself From Tech Support Scams
Tech support scams are an industry-wide issue where scammers trick you into paying for unnecessary technical support services. You can help protect yourself from scammers by verifying that the contact is a Microsoft Agent or Microsoft Employee and that the phone number is an official Microsoft global customer service number.
1. Press the Windows key type in "Settings" press enter.
2. Click Apps > Apps & Features.
3. Scroll down, search for "Microsoft Store" left-click
4. Click "Advanced options".
5. Scroll down and click "Reset".
6. Restart PC and try.
I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and let me know how it goes.
Thank you!

Thank you for your reply Joseph,
Unfortunately the method didn't seem to fix the problem and I'm still not sure what could possibly be the issue with the downloads.
Any other potential fixes are much appreciated,
Thanks Again

Hello SeanEllis94 and anyone else who may have the same problem.
I had tried this fix last night and it has completely fixed all problems with the Microsoft Store for me, I too searched the internet extensively and turned up nothing
Initially I was sceptical to try this method but thought I'd give it a go having researched what it actually does, involving using the 'reset this PC' feature. Located with Settings > Update and Security > Recovery > Reset this PC.
My thought was a corruption in a Windows file caused by malware or something of the sort because McAfee had uninstalled itself and this issue with the Microsoft Store happened immediately after.
If you choose to try this method as a troubleshoot then you NEED to make sure you keep your files because otherwise everything on your drives will be wiped. Some applications are deleted in the process but most are kept, the following list highlights what was and wasn't removed:
Anything in black such as AMD Catalyst Install Manager and Discord WERE deleted during the reset but were easily installed again afterwards. So all steam/origin/epic games games were kept and this reset basically uninstalls and re-installs Windows applications. (Your Anti-Virus are deleted so be sure to reinstall them later on!)
