At Southwestern Medical Foundation, we care about the health of our community. As a wide breadth of information is circulating about the COVID-19 novel coronavirus and its global impact, it is imperative to have reliable resources for updates and stay informed about effective ways to take precautionary measures.
We have compiled a list of the best sources sharing news regarding the impact of COVID-19. Please share this information with your families and networks.
We are dedicated to supporting UT Southwestern Medical Center’s response to COVID-19. You can help us do our part in the battle against COVID-19 in a few different ways:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is urgently needed at UT Southwestern. You can donate equipment by contacting giving@utsouthwestern.edu or calling 214-648-8988.
- Your generosity makes a world of difference in a trying time. Click here to make a gift to support UT Southwestern’s COVID-19 response, which includes designations to their Provider Assistance Fund, Research Fund, and Patient Care Fund.
- UT Southwestern, in partnership with Texas Health Resources, local organizations, and community leaders, is leading groundbreaking research to understand the spread of the novel coronavirus: the DFW COVID-19 Prevalence Study. UT Southwestern is recruiting about 45,000 residents of Dallas and Tarrant counties to receive free testing for the virus that causes COVID-19, as well as testing for antibodies against the virus. The Study will help develop effective and fair public health strategies to reduce any further deaths related to this disease. To learn more or get involved, please contact dfwcovidstudy@utsouthwestern.edu.
