Conan exiles mod download other then steam

Looking to spice things up on your Conan Exiles server? You may be interested in using Conan Exiles mods! Conan Exiles includes a vast collection of mods ranging from entire game overhauls to a mod that adds magic and wands.

Conan Exiles requires that you install mods on both the client-side and server-side.

To install mods on your client-side:

1. On the Conan Exiles Steam workshop, subscribe to the mods you wish to install on both your client and server.

2. Once you have allowed those mods to download, proceed to start Conan Exiles.

3. Once Conan Exiles has started, at the main menu of the game click Mods.

4. In the Mods area, under Available Mods you will see a list of the mods you subscribed to in the Conan Exiles Steam workshop.

5. To install a mod to your game client, select mods under Available Mods and then click > to move that mod under Selected Mods.

6. Once you are placed all of the mods you wish to run under Selected Mods, click Back and the game will prompt you to Restart for those changes to take effect. Click Yes.

If you download Conan Exiles mods outside of the Conan Exiles Steam workshop, upload those mod .pak files at this location on your computer:

\ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\

Once done, you can proceed to use the Mods area of Conan Exiles to finish installing those mods manually!

You have now successfully installed Conan Exiles mods on your client-side!

To install those mods on your server-side:

1. On your computer, go to this location:
\ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\440900\

Within the folder 440900, you will find folders named after the mod IDs of each mod you installed through the Conan Exiles Steam workshop. Each folder will contain a mod .pak file of the mod you installed.

2. Proceed to copy each mod .pak file and paste each file into an empty and safe folder.
Ensure that you only copy and paste the mod .pak files of the mods you also installed on your client-side.

3. Next, go back to the \ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\ location. 

4. Once those files have been copied, proceed to go on your Conan Exiles server’s control panel.

5. On your server’s control panel, click FTP File Access(File Access) to enter your server’s webFTP.

6. In your server’s FTP, go to the location \conanexiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\

If the Mods folder is not present, press New Folder and create a folder named Mods.

7. Go to the folder on your PC where you copied the mod .pak files to.

8. Press the Upload File button and select and upload each of those files within your Mods folder. 

9. Once uploaded, in that mods folder on your server, create a modlist.txt file. 

10. Now, locate the modlist.txt file in your PC files located here:

\ProgramFiles (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\modlist.txt

11. Using that modlist.txt file, add each of those mods into the modlist.txt file you created on your server in the exact same order like this:

*modname.pak
*anothermod.pak
*andanothermod.pak

12. Once you're done placing each mod .pak file into that modlist.txt file, click save, exit your server’s FTP, and then restart your server.

You have now successfully added mods to your Conan Exiles server.

You can now join your server and proceed to enjoy the experience of modded Conan Exiles!
