Open Library
Open Library features hundreds of thousands of scanned books, courtesy of the Internet Archive. Features many classic works of literature and out-of-copyright, public domain works. Books can either be read page-by-page in a browser (with an active Internet connection), or downloaded to your device and read via the Overdrive Media Console app or a PDF reader.

Getting Started with Open Library
Follow these steps from the Open Library FAQ pages:
- Sign up for an Open Library account
- Find a book to borrow
- If a BookReader edition is available, you can read it instantly online by clicking the "Read in Browser" link. You're done!
- If you see the READ button then the book is available to read in your browser immediately, no check-out required
- If you see a BORROW button then you can check out the book immediately for a 1 hour or 14 day check out period; it will be auto-returned and removed from your account at the end of the loan period
- If you see a CHECK AVAILABILITY button then the availability may vary; click on the button to see the availability
- Borrowing books in other formats will require
- Once Adobe Digital Editions or other ebook reader is downloaded, installed and registered, click the download link for the title on Open Library to download an EPUB or PDF.
