How to Download Video From Google Chrome
The Google Chrome Web browser supports a variety of media files including text, images, music and videos. If a website offers video downloads, you can save the files to your computer. Files saved using this browser are automatically placed into a designated Downloads folder. Any downloadable video file may be saved to your computer by using the browser.

Launch the Google Chrome browser and navigate to the page which contains a download of the video you wish to save to your computer's hard drive.

Click on the link for the video download. Once you click the link, a toolbar appears at the bottom of the browser. This toolbar displays the progress of the download. The download is complete when the progress bar reaches 100%.

Click the arrow next to the downloaded file's name and choose "Open." If you want to see the file in the download folder first, select "Show in Folder" instead. Double-click the file name to begin watching the video.

- Selecting "Show in Folder" allows you to see which folder you saved the file to.
- You can edit the default folder downloads are saved to. Click the wrench icon on the toolbar and choose "Show advanced settings." Scroll through the list to the "Downloads" section and click "Change." Select the folder to which you want future files to be automatically saved.
