Revit fonts free download - assured
Hi @tpreisler
Revit uses the fonts in your Windows directory. When you set up a text style, the font should show up as an option.
Revit only works with True Type Fonts that are ANSI Character-based. (These are fonts that can be used in Microsoft products such as Word.)
If it is .shx then it will only work with AutoCAD and you will have to substitute a ttf font for it in Revit.
Yes, as @ToanDN mentioned you will need to convert OTF fonts to TTF fonts: See HERE for information on how to convert.
To install or reinstall a font in Windows:
- Open the Fonts folder, either through Control Panel or by opening the Windows\Fonts
- Click File menu > Install New Font.
- In the Add Fonts dialog box, select the drive and the folder where the new font file is located. A list of any font files that are found in the selected location will appear in the List of Fonts box.
- Select the desired font
- ARCHISEL TTF, ARCHSTYLE TTF and the fonts suggested by @barthbradley are alternatives if you want to try.
